- What do I need in order to register?
To register as a fan all you need is a valid email address. To register as an artist you must have a valid college email address.
- What is the difference between a fan and an artist?
Anyone can register as a fan, which allows them to listen to songs and view profiles. Only college students can register as an artist, which allows them to view profiles, listen to songs, and upload three songs of their own.
- What type of files can I upload?
Pictures must be a JPEG or GIF that is 2MB or less. All songs must be MP3 files and 8MB or less.
- What should I do if my song won't upload?
First check the file type to make sure that is an mp3. Second check the file size to make sure it is less than 8MB. Third make sure your browser is up to date, if not update your browser or try a different one. If everything looks ok, check your firewall.
- How are the top ten songs selected?
The top ten songs list is generated by keeping track of which songs people listen to the most. The more people listen to your song, the higher the song moves up on the list.
- How is the artist of the month selected?
The artist with the number one song at the end of four weeks will be selected as the artist of the month. This artist will be interviewed and their number one song will be placed in the forecast hall of fame.
